Neil started his teaching career in 2010 with Zhengzhou University’s Sias International College after graduating from Trinity Western University’s undergraduate in Linguistics and concentration in TESL. Neil is a certified teacher for the IELTS test and is also certified to administer the IELTS speaking examination. Currently, Neil is enrolled in an online Master of Education in curriculum design at the University of New Brunswick.

As an immigrant from the Philippines, Ruth became a Canadian citizen as soon as she could, in 2015. Proud to live in this great country of Canada, she is equally proud to have fulfilled her lifelong dream of entering the travel and tourism industry.
Ruth knows what it is like to move to a new country with a different culture and business practices. She learned quickly that it is necessary to have the education in the field you wish to work in, as often home land education isn’t transferable. Also that entering the travel and tourism field requires starting at entry level, even with years of work experience. However, she has learned that if you work hard and pay attention advancement is quickly available.

Johnny Reinholdt has more than 20 years’ experience in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry. He received his education from the universities in Strasbourg & New York, after which he worked and trained in Scandinavia, Spain, Greece, Africa, Italy, USA, and Canada. Positions he has held have been from Bellboy to Resident Manager, Travel Agent to Conference Planner to success business owner.

Johnny is a Faculty Member of the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association and a Certified Hospitality Educator. In 2005 he received the prestigious Lamp of Knowledge Award for Outstanding International Educator.

One of Ursula’s passions is to read and she just couldn’t pass up the chance to sit on this large book bench set up to create bring more awareness to reading.
Marlene brings a wealth of diverse experience. Her past work includes 911 Emergency Operator for the Vancouver Police Department, travelling throughout the western provinces setting up and training franchise retail outlets for Canada Post and more recently, teaching Tourism in the private and public sectors at Vancouver’s Native Education College and CDI College.
Always striving to take her own learning and skills to a higher level, she is currently completing her Masters degree in Tourism Management at Royal Roads University in Victoria, and has just completed the Tour Director Certification at the International Tourism Management Institute in San Francisco.
Born in Victoria and raised in Vancouver, Marlene loves to share her passion for this part of the country with visitors. For the past four years, she has become a much in demand local tour guide as well as an over-the-road guide to the Canadian Rockies.
She believes in the richness that travel brings to life experience for both visitor and host. As a trainer she facilitates the skills for embarking on a rewarding career in tourism is her mission, and she delivers it with enthusiasm and authenticity.
Tricia has 20+ years' experience in Technology and Teaching. She is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Prince 2 trained and has an Adult Education Teaching Degree.
Tricia is passionate about building peoples confidence in technology, while keeping it simple.
Her career spans Banking, Technology and Gaming industries and she has a solid background in delivering excellent IT Services. As founder of Be Better at Technology, Tricia is passionate about building peoples confidence in technology while keeping it simple. Along with running her business she regularly volunteers at the Langley Senior Resources Society.
